Pixie Dark 1.0.0-rc2

Second release candidate of the shared Pixie Dark Drupal theme.

Included

  • Pixie Works, PixieFlow, PixieCore, and Twinkle Networks visual variants.
  • Content-first front-page rendering with Drupal-managed page copy and media.
  • Standard Drupal regions for inner pages and landing-page supporting blocks.
  • Drupal 10.6 and Drupal 11.4 compatibility metadata.
  • Required Copyright Footer 3.1 integration through Drupal dependency metadata and Composer.
  • Keyboard skip link, focus styles, and reduced-motion support.
  • Documented bundled asset provenance and automated validation configuration.

Release candidate notes

  • The release has clean-install validation on Drupal 10.6 and Drupal 11.4, but broader community testing is still required before a stable release.
  • Production-specific metadata and inline Copyright Footer marker handling require site configuration or an integration module and are intentionally outside the reusable theme.
  • Production-site metadata and content are intentionally not included in the theme package.
